Mr Ghosh said the erosion in BJP in East Midnapore has become rampant after the neo BJP’s refused to listen to the old guards. His wife is a panchayat pradhan. He used to work in the area as the BJP MLA was missing most of the time.
Mr Mondol said people are with him. “In the forthcoming Assembly election, Trinamul Congress will win the Moyena seat. People are leaving the BJP because of the highhandedness of some neo leaders. “BJP’s effort to malign me and spread canard against me or my family will not work in the area. Trinamul Congress will win from Moyena in the Assembly election,” he said.
